Polar explorer supports Abreast

North-Pole

Alan Chambers MBE the polar explorer and the man who led the first unsupported trek from Canada to the geographic North Pole, gave a truly awe inspiring talk in support of Abreast, at the BRI on Thursday February 10th 2010.

He held the specially invited audience, spellbound with the tale of how he and his team had to overcome staggering challenges to reach their almost impossible goal. In temperatures frequently lower than -50 degrees, through blizzards and half starvation, they managed walk unsupported across nearly 700 miles of the worst terrain on the planet.

And he's returning to the North Pole again on March 31st 2011, during which trip, he's offered to take a Corporate flag with him to raise funds for Abreast. This is a unique opportunity to raise brand awareness for your company with some potentially great publicity for your product or service.

If you'd like to see your company flag planted at the top of the world, please email info@abreast.org
